The official 365Labs LPSO Community Portal is the public roster for currently housed LPCC inmates, recently booked offenders, and recent releases. The corrections overview says persons arrested within the past 48 hours and booked may be shown. Another LPSO offender page references a 72-hour recent-booking window. The portal itself labels recent bookings and releases as 48 hours, so the safe reading is that recent data appears for a short rolling window.
LPSO posts a clear warning that roster data is for public and law-enforcement safety and should not be treated as an official public document. Name data may come from an arrestee or arresting agency before verification is complete. During the system transition, some demographic fields may be missing, including date of birth, race, height, weight, and hair color. Filed charges, plea history, and final dispositions belong in court records, not in the jail roster.

Use Lafayette Parish Inmate Search
The roster has three main public views: bookings in the last 48 hours, current inmates, and releases in the last 48 hours. It also accepts name and booking-number searches. Use the refresh control for the latest displayed roster, but treat urgent custody, bond, or release questions as phone matters for LPCC or LPSO.
- Open the 365Labs LPSO Community Portal from the LPSO offender information page.
- Choose the roster view: recent bookings, current inmates, or recent releases.
- Search by first name, last name, or booking number when a specific person is needed.
- Open the profile and review booking date, booking number, charge table, warrant number, docket number, bail amount, and release date when present.
- Use the green check mark to reach VINE for notification if the roster record offers it.
- If the person has moved to state prison after sentencing, use the Louisiana DOC locator instead of the parish jail roster.
Note: A roster charge or booking entry is not a conviction and should be checked against court records for final case outcomes.
Lafayette Parish Roster Fields

Lafayette Parish Inmate Profile
A Lafayette Parish inmate profile can show identity, booking, release, and charge data. Some fields may be blank if the data has not been verified or did not load during the portal transition. The charge table is often the most useful part for court users because it may show a statute, agency, report number, warrant number, docket number, and bail amount.

For full filed charges and dispositions, use the court case file. The custody profile can point to Lafayette Parish arrest records and court charges, but it does not decide guilt or final case status.
Lafayette Parish Correctional Center
LPSO operates the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, known as LPCC. LPCC provides booking, identification, housing, and inmate services for the local jail system. The facility processes about 12,000 arrestees each year, is ACA-accredited, and lists an initial accreditation date of August 1, 1988. Major Kenny Benoit is identified in the research as Corrections Commander / Warden.

Lafayette Parish Booking and Court
After an arrest, a person is booked into LPCC, photographed and identified, and attached to booking charges. The roster may show charge statutes, report numbers, warrant numbers, docket numbers, and bail amounts. Those are not final court outcomes. The District Attorney or City Prosecutor may file, amend, reduce, or decline charges depending on the case and court level.
If a person is sentenced and transferred from parish jail to state custody, the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections locator becomes the better channel than the 365Labs roster. If a person is in federal custody, the Bureau of Prisons locator is separate. Parish jail, state prison, and federal prison systems do not replace one another.
Lafayette Parish Custody Alerts
LPSO directs users to Louisiana VINE for custody notification. The offender page says to use the green check mark on a booking record to go to VINE. If the offender does not load automatically, search VINE by the offender's booking number as the ID number. VINE is a notification system for releases and transfers, while the jail roster is a current or recent booking display.
The VINE image in the manifest comes from the Louisiana VINE custody notification portal.
VINE belongs in the inmate workflow because roster users often need notice of release or transfer after they find a booking profile.
The Lafayette Sheriff app is also relevant. Its listings include Who's in Jail, Arrests and Mugshots, Most Wanted, Sex Offenders, and Missing Children, depending on store. The app is an added sheriff access channel, not a certified court record source.
Lafayette Parish Inmate Visits
LPSO describes offender visitation as onsite video visitation, and the commissary, phone, and mail page ties phone service and video visits to Ally Telecom Group. Official page text did not provide a full day-by-day visitation schedule, so visits should be scheduled through Ally or confirmed directly with LPCC. Do not rely on an invented visiting calendar.

Lafayette Parish Inmate Mail
LPSO changed personal mail to digital delivery effective March 1, 2025. Personal mail is scanned and delivered electronically to the offender's tablet or message app. Legal mail and commissary money orders use different addresses, so the address must match the item being sent.
